Artist Statement

My paintings and drawings are contemporary views of classical concepts as artists have interpreted through the centuries. They depict representational spaces that reflect an inherent balance of light and color and forms and space that unify a synchrony of choices. Whether a landscape or a still life, relationships are established that reinforce a harmonious interplay of initially independent elements and an equilibrium that I look to bring out in every piece that I create.
